I hope this becomes a new trend. I’m a guy and can’t stand armpit hair. But force myself to keep it because society expects men not to shave them. Hopefully, this will change…

I’ve been shaving my pits for a couple of weeks now, and I honestly don’t think it does anything for the odor. It seems like I notice odor sooner without the hair than with it. I think what someone said earlier is right, that the hair sort of keeps the sweat away from your skin or from just rolling down your body, therefore reducing the odor. So i guess good ole soap and water and deodorant is all you need.

WRONG. Gilette is just trying to get you to buy more crap. I shaved my pits once, and it caused major pit stains. This was not a turn on for girls. Turns out the hair prevents the sweat from reaching your clothes and running down your body. There’s a better solution: take a shower daily and don’t stress it.

So what if we guys wanna be more hygienic?!? It’s bad enough that guys are always stereotyped as being dirty or smelly..
I’m gonna be honest..i do it for the odor AND the appearance. I shave EVERYTHING…I also take pride in grooming my feet as well.. All of this I’m not afraid to admit.
I just think that women don’t like the fact that we’re catching up to them, hygiene-wise.
Why is life one big double standard?!?
PS. I know lots of girls with smelly feet…I have yet to meet a guy.

I’d rather be called gay by random people than smell awful. I’m not offended. I shave my armpits, and if people don’t like it, that’s their problem. I don’t now them, and they don’t know me. I’m not gay, but if you want to think otherwise because I shave my armpits, feel free. At least I don’t smell as bad as i would if I didn’t shave.

I would agree. Because of hair it does smell bad because it stains. Especially armpit which you sweat alot.

My girlfriend loves it when I shave my balls…it’s the only way she’ll put them in her mouth. I’m not sure if I would ever shave my pits; but I wouldn’t judge another man for it…I think it’s just a personal preference.
